Mask of the David by Michelangelo. One of the most iconic pieces of art ever created, the David stands 17 feet tall and was carved from a single block of marble. A copy stands in the Piazza della Signoria where it was first unveiled, and the original masterpiece can be found in the Accademia Gallery in Florence.
