Mask of Night, carved by Michelangelo for the tomb of Lorenzo de’ Medici. The statue is one of four allegories of times of day, and can be seen alongside Dusk, Day and Dawn in the Medici Chapel in Florence. This room in the Medici Chapel contains the most Michelangelo sculpture per square foot in the world, housing seven large sculptures.
